My Wife's Chaga Waffles unsweetened recipe serves 2-3 people. I prefer no sweetener so that I may enjoy them for what they are — but you can sweeten these with a tablespoon of maple syrup, coconut sugar, or yacon syrup.

You will need a waffle maker for this recipe. Use organic ingredients.

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup spelt flour
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 1 Tablespoon chia seeds soaked in warm water to make a "chia egg"
  • 1 teaspoon chaga powder
  • 1 1/2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup of oat milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons of hemp seeds
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Blend ingredients.

You can eat these with fresh fruit or plain. I like them bland. They are amazing. It's food — not dessert. These can be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
